Undertaking a Waste Audit
Think about waste in your organisation. If it is not managed correctly, the true cost can affect the business performance, profitability and reputation.
Are you responsible for implementing an internal waste audit for your company or do you need to know the process for implementation?
Overview
Building on a basic understanding of the waste hierarchy, Duty of Care and basic waste legislation, this practical scenario-based course helps identify how you can understand your organisations waste and whether it can be managed more effectively, identifying areas for improvement for its management regarding legal compliance, financial and environmental costs.
What's in it for me?
By the end of this course you will be able to:
- measure your organisations waste
- know how to plan and deliver an audit of your waste arising's
- know how to evaluate data from an internal waste audit and identify key findings

All delegates need to have a basic understanding of the waste hierarchy; this can be achieved by completing the WasteSmart Foundation Certificate prior to attending.
