New technologies offer incredible opportunities to drive industries toward greener systems through multiple levels of efficiency. As we continue to learn and test how we can take advantage of these technologies, the opportunities for exciting and innovative change are clear and there for the taking. However, a lack of policy guidance and funding to back sustainable driven change means there are barriers around trialling new technologies or evolving operational practices.

This webinar will look at using technology for optimised processes and what this means for resource recovery and the circular economy, including:
 - Current examples of technology aiding resource tracking and recovery including digital passports, data analysis and online material exchanges.
 - Where is the current gap in the value chain hindering technology optimised infrastructures?
 - The rise of the Internet of Waste and how this creates opportunities for waste and resources.
 - What technology could play the biggest role in operational optimisation in the next 12 months.

Moderator:
Lee Marshall, CIWM
Speakers:
Alice Rackley, Polytag
Christian van Maaren, Excess Material Exchange
Adam Herriott, WRAP
