A West of England PDN Event
Join the West of England PDN for a unique opportunity to see aircraft disassembly, re-use and recycling at Air Salvage International (ASI) at Cotswold Airport (www.airsalvage.co.uk)
Date: Wednesday 18th September 2024
Venue: Air Salvage International Ltd, Cotswold Airport, Cirencester, Glos. GL7 6BA
Timings:
10:30 hrs start, lasting between 1.5 and 2 hours. The site visit will consist of a presentation by Mark Gregory, ASI's Founder and Managing Director about the history of the cmpany and the aircraft diassembly sector in general. This is normally followed by a visit to view aircraft undergoing the disassembly process.
Event Fee:
There is no charge to attend, however ASI have requested that attendees make a minimum £10 donation to Wiltshire Air Ambulance. Please bring a cash donation with you which will be collected on registration.
Please note that places are strictly limited to
19 and are on a first come first served basis and only one individual per
organisation.
PPE:
Attendees must arive with their own hi-vis jacket and suiitable footwear should be worn (no open toed shoes etc).
Accessibility:
Tours will involve long periods of standing and walking (on uneven ground) and ascending/descending aircraft/hangar stairs
