Introduction
Recycling Technologies has developed a machine, the RT7000, which uses pyrolysis processing to convert plastic waste, which currently cannot be recycled, into Plaxx® - a valuable hydrocarbon product, which is used as a petrochemical feedstock to produce new polymers. The RT7000 pre-production plant is at the Swindon facility. The RT7000 is modular, scalable and sized to be installed at existing waste sites and recycling centres, diverting residual plastic waste from ending up landfilled, incinerated or exported overseas.
This is a unique opportunity to join a CIWM West of England NMN site visit to learn about a new and innovative process for difficult to recycle plastic materials such as film and multi- layed food wrappings and also see the RT7000 Beta plant in action.
