CIWM London & Southern Counties Centre PDN Site Visit to SELCHP

LSCC Professional Development Network are pleased to invite you to join our next site visit to SELCHP. This energy recovery facility provides safe disposal of waste as well as generating heat and power for local residents.

Cost: FREE for CIWM Members
CPD? 2 hours

Please Note: 
 - Sensible footwear must be worn at all times by all visitors, i.e. no open-toed or high-heeled shoes. Long-sleeved clothing must also be worn. All other PPE will be provided by the site. 
 - No smoking on site. 
 - Unfortunately, any visitors who are unable to walk unaided will be unable to visit site due to the walkways. 
 - Any visitors who have medical implants such as an implantable cardio converter defibrillator (pacemaker) will be unable to join the tour due to the magnets used on site. 
 - No photos are to be taken in the plant and no mobile phones are to be used whilst on the site tour. 
 - No food or drink to be consumed whilst on the site tour.
 - Parking is limited. You are encouraged to travel via public transport or share cars where possible.
