The visit will provide an overview of the decommissioning process at Trawsfynydd, from low level Nuclear including NRS contribution to reducing waste, environmental sustainability, circular economy and the milestones achieved to date in waste management and recycling will be discussed. There will be a presentation followed by a tour of the facility where attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and network during the event.

Programme: 
09:30 - Arrival and refreshments 
10:00 - Welcome/ Safety Briefing - CIWM Cymru and NRS staff
10:15 - Presentation on Trawsfynydd
10:45 - F-36 brief and issue of PPE
11:00 - Arrive at security lodge 
11:15 - Arrive at ACP and start tour of 'Gold Route' and ILW store 
12:45 - leave ACP, walk over to Controlled Waste Compound
13:00 - Lunch 
14:00 - Depart

Please Note: 
- You will be asked to provide any dietary requirements at booking 
- Please park in the first overflow car park on the right-hand side 
- As an element of the visit will be outside, all attendees are recommended to wear suitable clothing including footwear to guard against potential wet and cold weather
