Rising Star of the Year Award

This peer and/or self-nominated award recognises individuals new to the sector* who have stood out from the crowd during the last 12 months and have made a real difference to resource management in their local area, or on a regional or national project.

Applications are invited from people who can demonstrate innovation, passion, commitment and practical project delivery that has, and is making a difference. We would welcome submissions from across the sector and are keen to hear from you whether you have been active in influencing and promoting the circular economy, driving resource efficiency or delivering improved waste and recycling performance.

The nomination should be no more than 250 words and include evidence of or reference to:

• A brief description of the overall aims and objectives of the project they participated in;
• Their role in delivering change and the improvement they have contributed to; and
• What drives them and how they have gone above and beyond their day to day role to achieve this?
